In this online class, you will complete three cards featuring the Tulla & Norbert clear stamp set by PhotoPlay. This class is pared down to just Copics — no stenciling, heat embossing, foiling, etc. — so that we can concentrate on the basics. The marker colors were chosen to blend with the coordinating Tulla & Norbert design paper by PhotoPlay.
Since we are still social distancing, this Copic class is offered completely online so you can work on it from home at your leisure. It includes five videos as follows:
The first video goes over different blending techniques, including blending light to dark, dark to light, tip to tip, and what I often call speed coloring. Start here if you are new to Copic coloring or need to review blending techniques.
The next three videos show you how to color the each of the gnome images.
The final video shows you how to assemble the cards.
To participate, you’ll need to purchase the class kit from Photo Scraps and provide Tracy with your email address. Tracy created this adorable new Christmas Mini Album using Echo Park papers. You will be decorating a Prima Magnetic album base to create this Christmas album. $39 You will need your adhesive, pop dots, paper trimmer and scissors.
As you may already know, this month's Demo Day event has been cancelled. However, you can still get your Demo Day fix! The store will remain open until as allowed and we are limiting the number of people in the store at a time to 10 or less. Call the store in advance and we will pull your order and deliver it to your car!
Nancy prepared three simple cards for this month's Demo Day featuring the Blue Pansies and Bunches of Blossoms stamps sets from Stampendous. She has created videos to help you complete her cards.
CARD 1
To complete this card:
Adhere the patterned card stock to the card base.
The kit contains two white card stock rectangles. On the larger piece (i.e. the one WITHOUT the sentiment), color a 1/4" border along all four sides using the B24 marker. Once complete, center and glue the smaller rectangle with the sentiment on top. This will create the blue border behind the sentiment layer.
Glue the combined layers to the front of the card.
Fussy cut the image. On the back, place foam dimensional squares. Adhere to front of card.
CARD 2
To complete this card:
Adhere the patterned card stock to the card base.
Place foam dimensional squares on the back of the image. Adhere to the larger white rectangle.
Adhere to front of card.
CARD 3
To complete this card:
Adhere the patterned card stock to the card base.
On the white rectangle card stock, color a 1/4" border along all four sides using the R22 marker.
Place foam dimensional squares on the back of the image. Adhere to the larger rectangle. This will create the peach border behind the sentiment layer.
Adhere the combined layer to the front of the card.
